Purchased this car from my younger cousin to help her out. The drain plug for the oil pan came loose and the motor siezed on her. She did not have the means to fix it. I purchased a motor from Auto Adventure with 79k miles and a warrienty. Had Peters import install it. since the motor was already out, they replaced the water pump, timing belt, powersteering pump and alternator belt. Also had them do the front brakes and new battery. No expense was spared all work was professionally done. The transmission was replaced with a brand new one at 55k miles do to a common recall issue. The expensive toyo tires have about 2500 miles on them. Mechanically this car is about perfect. It should need nothing for a long time. The car has about 400 miles on it since all the work was completed. Have reciepts for everything.
-The exterior is very nice. There are no dents or dings to speak of, the paint shines nice. The interior is very nice also. Carpet is very clean, there are no rips, tears, or stains. The driver seat is showing a little wear, but is still in good shape. I just had it detailed and it looks fantastic. The rare S type trim pkg really makes this stand out from your average TL. It gets 28 mpg on the freeway. I hate to sell it after all the work done. Had no intentions of doing so, but my wife isn't ready to give up her Saab and we don't need 3 vehicles. Note: The car is located in Vancouver WA, but would be willing to meet in tacoma for a serious buyer.
