| 1998 Acura NSX-T Vin: JH4NA2167WT000083 98K miles Kaiser Silver / Black 3.2L V6 DOHC 6-SPEED When considering purchasing any modified car it is very important to know a little history of the shop or person performing the work (that’s me). We have a custom car shop which restores and customizes cars of all types and caliber. I however specialize and have a passion for the NSX. I truly believe the NSX is one of the best engineered/designed and reliable production exotic cars in its class.Therefore modifying a car of this caliber is very challenging, in that the mods Made should extenuate the original design. By this I mean giving the car more pronounced lines and a broader stance while paralleling its original design. This is what I accomplished in my work. This car won two 1st place trophies in two separate national touring car shows, Best engineered/ Best Import. Our shop has been in business since 1972 and has finished 100’s of show vehicles.Exterior- Full sorcery wide body (front fenders, rear quarter panels, side skirts, front bumper)- Carbon fiber hood- 2002 + Headlight conversion- Custom built rear spats- Aluminum fuel cap- Xenon headlightsThere were hundreds of hours spent on the fit, design, and modifications to the sorcery body. One of the main goals of this project was to keep OEM fit body gaps. First the body panels were fit to the car noting all the cuts and mods needed to be made. All panels had either relief cuts made or were completely sectioned to the desired fit. Once the panels were all built to the desired fit and finish, the backsides of the panels were reinforced with two layers of fiberglass. Before the panels had cured they were bolted in place. Once cured, the panels fit the body like a glove without springing out of place. This also provided a lot of strength giving the panels a great basis to block out without the flexing. All the panels were then covered in duraglass/plastic filler then blocked several times until they were straight. 4 coats of high build primer were sprayed and blocked out again and ready for paint. 4 coats of color was sprayed and finished with 4 coats of European clear.I modified the front lower lip of the bumper, the wheel openings were all radius to follow the contour of the wheels, and the rear of the fenders were re-designed. This was all done to accomplish a unique and tasteful look of the wide body.Interior- Bride Gias Low max Carbon/Kevlar adjustable seats- Bride adjustable seat rails (Nsx specific)- K 40 built in radar/laser detection system- Nsx-r shift boot- Nsx-r repro stainless shift knob- Alcantara door inserts- Nsx Navigation Pod (no nav)- Alpine Tme-m740bt touch screen- Alpine DVD player- Usa-spec Ipod controller- SOS aluminum gauge cluster rings- Momo Team 300 mm steering wheel- Nsx-r style horn ring- NRG quick release- Rapid short hub- Short shift linkageThe interior of the car was fitted with a pair of Bride Gias low max seats. The seat rails are adjustable as well as the back of the seat. Theses seats definitely keep you centered in your seat.The center console trim, door trim, and the Nav pod trim were all stripped of there OEM finish. They were then sanded flat and painted black Mica. The leather on the interior door handles were removed, filled, sanded flat and finished in black mica. The leather was also removed from the center of the door panels and replaced with real black alcantara. The rear of the navigation pod was covered in NSX dash material to match the grain of the dash, giving it a more OEM look.The stock Bose sound system was retained, while incorporating a Alpine dvd player, bluetooth, and I-pod controls through the use of the stock stereo.The K-40 radar and laser system has sensors built into the front and rear of the car. LED lights were built into the gauge cluster face and alert you when they flash or audibly. The presences of the lights are not seen unless they are lit up. There is also an adjustable volume and shut off switch.Suspension System/ Undercarriage-Tein Ra aluminum coil over system.-Complete 4 wheel air piston (air ride) suspension system-Comptech rear sway bar-Stainless steel braided brake lines.This car is able to be raised and lowered approximately 3-4 inches, while retaining all handling, ride, and dampening characteristics of the Tein Ra’sThere are two 1 gallon air tanks and air pump located in the trunk. The switches are located on the center console for ease and quickness of use.The complete suspension system was taken out and baking soda blasted to a beautiful/clean aluminum look, better than new. Rear ball joint boots were replaced along with the axle boots. All the bolts and nuts were cleaned in a parts washer or soda blasted before assembly.The non-catalyst undercoating was removed off the wheel wells and the underside of the car. Many hours were spent in this process. The car was then prepped and sealed ready for paint. The wheel wells and underside of the car were painted body color and finished with 3 coats of clear.Engine/Service-Rps aluminum flywheel and clutch-Stainless steel headers-Dali stainless test pipes-GT lightweight stainless exhaust-Dali coolant tank-Stainless steel fuse box cover-Full 90K service (T-belt, water pump, etc)-Optima batteryThe engine and transmission were removed for the install of the RPS clutch and flywheel. The 90K service was then completed while the engine was out of the car. The90k service includes: Timing belt, Water pump, Valve cover gaskets, spool valve seals and filter, Pcv valve, tensioner pulley, idler pulley, clutch Slave cylinder and master cylinder, and water hoses, Fresh oil change with Mobil 1 synthetic oil.
